Official Concentration Idea

My AP Portfolio concentration idea revolves around the idea of the Independence of Women. I plan to continue shooting women in interesting locations and displaying my theme through the photos. My concentration will begin with a photo or two of many women or people not standing out, then progress into women alone. As the portfolio goes on, I will focus on making each following image more personalized to the girl. For example some of the women will not be looking and will be far away in the photo then in later pictures be close up and looking at the camera.

Assignment #18 : DIY Proposal

For my DIY I am putting a twist on "Photography as Art". I loved doing that project last year because trying to imitate a piece of artwork was a very fun challenge for me. This time, however, I would like to mimic the photography and graphic design of a few different album covers. I've always been curious as to how photographers compose and create them so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity for me to try it out. Here are some covers I am thinking about attempting:
